Blessings and Judgment

"Was Hurricane Katrina a judgment on decadent New Orleans?" Or "Isn't America specially blessed of God?" These questions regularly arise and Kerby Anderson deals with them, aided by Erwin Lutzer's book, Is God on America's Side?

These kinds of queries are not confined to the United States or the 21st Century. A look back at the real meanings of cursing and blessing in the Old Testament and what Jesus said in such a case brings clarity and caution to this issue.
